1. Put the collet into the nut, turn the collet gently, and push it into the nut evenly in the given direction, when the offset flange enters the undercut of the collet.
2. Fix the nut and collet on the collet body or the machine tool spindle, and rotate the nut until the collet is pressed tightly. Wipe the straight shank of the tool and insert it into the guide hole. Tighten the nut with a wrench until the tool is clamped heavily.
(Note: Never tighten the nut without a tool in the nut, otherwise the nut will break)
3. When changing the tool, loosen the nut, the collet and the tool will be pulled out together, then remove the tool and push the collet out in the given direction. Finally install the collet and tool of different sizes.
