CIMES 2024 is hosted by China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China National Machinery International Cooperation Co., Ltd., and China National Machine Tool Corporation, and organized by China National Machinery International Cooperation Co., Ltd. and Beijing National Machinery Exhibition Co., Ltd. This exhibition is themed "Digital Future Technological Innovation", and 25 events will be held during the same period. The exhibition fully focuses on the scientific and technological innovation achievements of the machine tool industry, such as specialization, precision, specialization, and innovation, and jointly explores new ideas and strategies for industrial development, and seeks more new directions and new paths for the sustainable development of the machine tool industry.
This year, "high-end equipment, precision manufacturing, and intelligent manufacturing" have become the keywords of the exhibition. This exhibition comprehensively displays innovative solutions such as high-end intelligent equipment, advanced digital application technology, and precision manufacturing processes, highlighting the "hard power" of corporate technology.
At the same time, in order to strengthen the development of the entire industrial chain and promote the industry to move towards the middle and high end of the value chain, this exhibition has specially set up four special exhibition areas: metal cutting equipment and special processing equipment, sheet metal forming equipment, cutting tools, measurement, machine tool accessories, industrial automation and smart factories. While enhancing the audience's viewing experience, it helps exhibitors and users establish a convenient and intuitive docking and communication platform to promote further cooperation.
From the perspective of the specific proportion of exhibits, metal cutting equipment accounts for about 31%, metal forming and laser processing equipment accounts for about 23%, cutting tools and tools account for about 17%, functional parts and accessories account for about 11%, industrial measurement equipment accounts for about 10%, and automation integration equipment accounts for about 8%. Compared with 2020, the number of exhibitors has increased to a certain extent; in particular, the exhibits of the two major sectors of metal cutting and laser processing account for half of the share, further reflecting the huge potential of the metal processing market.
It is worth mentioning that the buyer group activity is a highlight of this year's exhibition. In order to meet the needs of a larger volume, achieve effective docking and order conversion on a large scale, and enhance additional services for exhibitors, the organizing committee of this exhibition has worked closely with hundreds of industry media and mass media, as well as industry associations, local institutions, and industrial parks. By publishing exhibition information, increasing exhibitor exposure, inviting professional audiences and buyer groups, attracting leading companies in many key areas, and buyer groups composed of top domestic universities and authoritative industry associations in various fields, gathering domestic high-quality resources, and helping exhibitors to open up the domestic market.
At the same time, 25 special forums will be held during the exhibition, focusing on the latest industry topics and trends, and keeping up with industry hot spots. Experts in various sub-sectors will answer questions from the audience and offer suggestions for the development of the industry.
