In general, to reduce the risk of corrosion of the handle, we generally recommend cleaning all functional surfaces with anti-rust oil and storing them in a dust-free and dry environment. The so-called corrosion is actually an electrochemical oxidation process between metals and external oxidants (such as coolants containing too much chlorine, acidic components in sweat, etc.). There are many ways to prevent this kind of metal corrosion, such as using coating technology (nickel coating, chromium coating...), using corrosion-resistant substrate materials (such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc.)... EPB has also gradually adopted these technologies. At present, EPB generally uses black treatment on the non-grinding surface of the handle, while Liteline uses aluminum alloy as the substrate, and Axiabore is made of stainless steel. The outer surface of the handle of Steadyline, Shrinkfit, etc. is chrome-plated. All these solutions require a certain amount of cost and are usually in violation of ISO14001. Therefore, encouraging users to clean the handle after each use is the best way to prevent corrosion.
Here are some quick knife handle care guidelines we recommend:
1. Use an air gun to blow away all solid and liquid impurities on the surface of the handle.

2. Use a clean rag to wipe off dirt (scale, etc.)

3.Spray some anti-rust oil (such as Brannotec, Ballistoil) on a clean rag.

4.Use a rag sprayed with oil to wipe the surface of the handle to form a thin oil film on the surface.

The toolholder is the basic connection between the machine tool spindle and the tool. Regular maintenance and inspection of the toolholder is necessary to extend its service life.
